Never miss a story from the people that matter most.

Forward us the good stuff: the recital, the big game, the birthday party. We’ll send it to the family.

No feed, no ads, no likes, no fluff.

  1. Judy replies
  2. A clipping comes back
  3. The front page

Judy Geller replies to the family paper’s email with two lines, “Ross bought another couch, and this time he paid for delivery. Two men had it upstairs in five minutes.”, and a photo of the couch on the landing. A minute later a receipt comes back with a clipping of how it will run. In the next issue it leads the front page of The Geller Yeller, with the photo above the fold, and the paper remembers that last week the couch got stuck on the stairs.

Everyone else replies to an email

Judy writes back from the same inbox as always. A minute later a clipping arrives, set in the paper’s own type, showing how the piece will run in the next issue.

Nobody needs an app, an account or a password. The paper arrives by email, one tap opens the whole issue, and every page has a Large print button.

Got it! It runs Sunday.

Thanks, Judy. Your note and your photo are in for The Geller Yeller on Sunday.

The editors may change it before Sunday.

This Time, the Couch Made the Turn

Ross bought another couch, and this time he paid for delivery. Two men had it upstairs in five minutes.

A clipping in the Geller Yeller’s type: the nameplate, Sunday’s date, the headline “This Time, the Couch Made the Turn”, the photo of the couch on the landing, and Judy’s words: Ross bought another couch, and this time he paid for delivery. Two men had it upstairs in five minutes.

How It Works

  1. You start the paper

Name it and add the family’s email addresses. It takes a couple of minutes.

  2. A question goes out

Before each issue, everyone gets one easy question by email.

  3. They reply

A few lines or a photo, from the inbox they already use. No app, no password.

  4. Everyone gets the paper

On the day you pick, a paper made from what they sent. You check it first.

The paper remembers what your family tells it, and nothing from anywhere else, so the week Ross gets a new couch it can mention the one that got stuck on the stairs. For a big birthday, the family can make a secret issue about one person, who first sees it on the day.

The inside of Central Perk, with the couch in front of the counter

A producer heard Phoebe play Smelly Cat at Central Perk and made it into a music video, sung by someone else.

Phoebe found out when it came on TV. She says the song is still hers, and the cat is fine.

Wanted. Whoever took fries off Joey’s plate at the diner. You know what you did.

For sale. One couch, two halves. Four dollars, firm. Ask Ross.

Questions

Does everyone need an app?

No. Everything works by email and on the web. Relatives reply to the paper’s email the way they reply to anyone.

Who can read it?

Only the people on your paper’s list, and anyone they forward an issue to. Search engines are kept out, there are never any ads, and news about a death, a pregnancy, a divorce or someone’s health always waits for an editor. Privacy and Your Photos

Who writes the stories?

Software writes them from what people sent, using only what’s in the mail, and someone in your family checks every issue before it goes out. How the stories are written

What will it cost?

It’s free while we’re in beta. After that there will be a free plan and paid ones, priced per paper however many people read it, and reading and sending things in stay free for everyone else. There will never be ads. Pricing
